2000 News

--Nov 15, 2000--

First off it was reported earlier that TQ would have a song on the soundtrack for the upcoming Chris Rock film, Heaven Can't Wait, well I did some research and this is what I came up with: The upcoming film in which Chris Rock stars in was called I Was Made To Love Her an was based on the 1978 Warren Beaty screenplay Heaven Can't Wait, but now the Official name for this movie is Down To Earth. Release date for this movie is Feb. 16, 2001 so expect the soundtrack to come out around the same time. Whether or not TQ will still be on the soundtrack - I don't know. The song with TQ on the RBL Posse album "Eye For An Eye" is called Gotta Git Mine. (thanx 2 theguy0069 for the info) I added a clip of the song to the sounds section.

If you bought the Damizza album inside the booklet it gives the lyrics to every song and a little description/explanation for each song. It says the song Used To by TQ was one of the first songs made for TQ's album The Second Coming but there was some problem getting the song cleared for the album so it was cut. Damizza also said he had a hard time getting them to let the song be on his album. If you didn't know already Damizza is affiliated with Baby Ree productions, which produced a few songs off the album The Second Coming. Maybe TQ will sign with them since leaving Sony?

Sorry for no update, been having problems with the server, anyways 3 new songs with TQ!!! The first song called Bounce by Shade Sheist featuring TQ and the solo song called Used To, which are both on the album "Damizza Presents...Where I Wanna Be" The 3rd song is called Get Paid from "Tha Outlawz - Ride Wit Us Or Collide Wit Us". Listen to all 3 in the sounds section. Both albums in stores now. TQ is also on the new RBL Posse album 'Bootlegs & Bay Shit: The Resume' . He was on the old RBL Posse "An Eye For An Eye" album back in '97 but he didn't get credited for it on the cover and I don't have the album so i don't know what song he was on. The new RBL Posse album is mostly a greatest hits album so it's probably the same song from '97. If you know what song this is or have the album e-mail me at kcqu2p@aol.com.

I uploaded 2 Live Performances TQ did on the Up In Smoke tour. Go to the cd sounds section at the bottom of the sounds page. I will be getting the Baller Blockin' - Soundtrack tonite with the new TQ song I Got To Go. I'll try to post that tommorrow.

--Aug. 26, 2000--

TQ is currently working on a song for the soundtrack of the soon to be released Chris Rock film Heaven Can't Wait. Tq will also have a song caleed I Got To Go on the Cash Money records soundtrack "Baller Blockin'" (Expected to be released September 12th). No news as to when his album will hit the US but rumors are floating around of a October 10th release.

--Aug 11, 2000--

TQ album is delayed again, will not be released on the 22nd. No new release date is set.

--June 20, 2000--

TQ will be heading out on the Up In Smoke tour with, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Cube, Xzibit, & others.

--June18, 2000--

The Second Coming release date is now set for Aug. 22, 2000

--June 2000--

The Second Coming has been released in Europe, US Reelase date is set for August 22. It appears that different countries will have different track lists, go here for some more info.
