What do you like about Holland?

Nobody go they have any problems and if they do they hide it. It’s like real happy. And it’s anice looking country. I like the buildings and stuff.

Is faith important to you?

Very, I got to say all the succes I have had, Me just being here. i have to give it up to god. That’s were it all came from. I don’t think I have any control over anything that’s going on in my life Careerwise,Creatively as a artist, period. So I thank god everday.

You have been part of the group Coming of age?

My hats of to all the succesful groups out there. Because to be in a group with 3 or 4 maybe even 5 different persons with different personality, all doing the same job together. It takes each of you moving on the same wavelenght for it to do anything. It’s just hard especially when people have sepertae agenda’s. Even myself I went into the group knowing that I wanted to go solo regardless from the beginning. There are not many groups which made it over the years. But when I look at them I have to give them probs Because that’s not a easy thing to do. That’s why you here all time time groups breaking up,getting new members.

Do you think being part of a group is harder then preform solo?

Your job is to create. I found that it’s much easier for me to control my creativity for myself. Because what I see for myself may not be for what the next man sees. But when we are in a group together we have to both agree on stuff.

But instead of what you expect by listening to the lyrics of "Westside" it wasn’t a rap song?

No not at all it was definetly R&B. I like to call it reality R&B. Because I think these days R&B has lost the bleus partof it,the reality part. That’s what "Westside was. I was giving it up to my neighborhood And the song thought me as much as I wrote. I was going around the world seeing how everybody was connecting with the song. And how theey appled the song to their own situation.

Tell me us something about the videoclip of "Daily"?

It’s gonna be cool. It’s basicly follows the song, you will see this bad day happening. It’s funny because everbody which could go wrong will go wrong in this video. But what’s so good about it with some special effects. I will be taken out of the mess and I will be put in a big mansion with some of my friend partying.

Is hard growing up in Compton,California?

Well it’s was harder when I was growing up then it is now. But Compton is a rough place. Because how many other places can you think of on the earth. Where you gotto watch out what you wear. You can’t go in a certain area with a certain colour on ,because people would kill you for it. It’s ridiculous. But my whole childhood that’s the way it was. Sometimes I would take 2 shirts when I leave.

Where did you get your inspiration for "The Second Coming"?

I’m still dealing with life just like on the first album. But this album is based on a different timeperiod. When "They Never Saw Me Coming"first came out it was about the past. Definetly about stuff where I dealt with a long time ago. This album is dealing with my life as it is right now. It’s alot more refresing as the last album. It’s gonna make you thing. But it’s not necessarly gonna make you sad. I don’t wanna call it a happy album. Because it’s defenitly based on the reality. And I will focus on the struggle like I did on the first album. But I’m looking at it through happy eyes.

Don’t you get bored doing all these interviews?

You get tired of the same thing. But I always ask myself. What would you rather be doing. And I will keep on doing interviews.

I listened to the sneak preview of the new album. And my personal favourite was "The One"

I gotta tell you something about that song. I had lost my lyrics of that song. The lyrics where somewhere else. So I arrived at the studio and one of my friends girlfriend was standing in the studio. I told her the stand in front of the the window. And I said let me come up with a song. and I came up with that song.

Did you picked "Daily" yourself as the first single?

It was a automatic pick for the States. Because everybody has had a bad day. And that’s what the song is about: One of those days when you wake up in the morning and it just all goes bad. You spill coffee all over you. Somebody hits your car in the back, get to work late. The message about the song is that the day ends at midnight. And tomorrow probably won’t be as bad.

When will you be back preforming in Holland?

I will coming back here in the spring or summer. I got some touringoptions on the plate. We are gonna see which we gonna pick.
