My new single "Daily" is based on what keeps me busy at this moment. Most of my songs from the first album are about things that happened to me lots of years ago. At this moment I’m busy with other things, things that happen to me nowadays. "Daily" is about things that really happened to me on certain days.

The inspiration of your new album "The Second Coming"

It’s a certain power that keeps me going. During my first album it was anger. Anyone who knows my story and nows the musicindustry, know that this album is something I wanted to let go of years ago. Years. If I had a choice, I wouldn’t have chose this album to be my first album. But I tried for so long and finally I had a chance to break through, so I took it as it was.

Some things on my album some people hate and other people love. This never really bothered me, I was happy that my first album got published. This time I got my power from the things I do every day. I also get my power from the succes I have. But it doesn’t change me. You can start at the bottom and slowly climb your way up. The problems with my first album are still there, but I look at them different now.

Because of my first album, I’ve seen a lot of the world. Lots of people and cultures have to do with the same problems, that are on my album. It are the same problems that we also have in the USA.

I would like to say to the people that it doesn’t matter where you’re from or how much money you earn, we’re all the same and we all have problems. That connects us.

About Europe

Going to Europe and going through lots of things, that I’ve been through the last couple of years, has given me more than before. I really like coming to Europe every time, the people here stand closer to life, I think. I have a few true fans who I really love. They love me and that’s what connects us.

I always talk to the people who want autographs from me. Lots of people give me little stuffed animals and I want to know why. They don’t just give them because they know me from TV. They know my album and every word of my lyrics. Even when they don’t speak English, they know the lyrics. They see something in them. I know that, ik read my website and read my Fanmail. Sometimes I can’t understand it.

About fans

I don’t think that enough artists notice their fans and give them enough attention. They have to many other things on their minds. But we will always keep in mind that the fans are the most important.

If you look around you, it are the fans that buy the TQ albums. If I didn’t have any fans, I could better stop with performing and making cd’s. Without the fans we can’t do what we’re doing now. This we have to do as artists.
