TQ: Cash Money (laughs). Naw Baby & Slim , I've known them for awhile and when we met we really hit it off. I just really respect their business and their realness. I mean Cash money will be the last record label I will be with, I will be there till I'm done singing.

Aries (T M H): What makes "Gemini" different than your other releases?

TQ: This album is more of traditional R&B. I want to break people out of thinking I'm a rapper (laughs). I am an R&B singer. The fact that I sing is the only thing about me that is R&B. I hang out with rappers, I dress like a rapper, but I am a product of my environment. But I am a singer and not a rapper.

Aries (T M H): Not many people try to cover a Prince song, but you remake "Adore" on the new album, how did that come about?

TQ: I ain't even gonna lie, I was cheating (laughs). I've been singing that song since I was little. We would have family get togethers and I would break out and sing that. I could never really find a producer that felt I could pull it off. Slim came in and was like you need to do a remake for this album and I told him I wanted to do that one and he was like the Prince song? Slim didn't even think I could pull it off at first. That is my song. I sing it all the time, in the shower, I mean everywhere.

Aries (T M H): How was it working with R. Kelly?

TQ: A great experience. I look up to him. I want to get to his level. I really wasn't expecting to work with him, but I am thankful that I got the opportunity and we are working on some more projects together.

Aries (T M H): What artist are you currently writing for?

TQ: Cash Money artist mainly. We have a lot of new artist coming out and I am working with them, plus I'm all over current Cash Money records. I write for some artist that are over seas like I did N-Sync and I also did one on Dru Hill's new album.

Aries (T M H): Who are some of your musical inspirations?

TQ: NWA, as far as R&B, I couldn't listen to NWA in the house so I had to listen to my moms music. So my R&B inspirations are old school artist like Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Curtis Mayfield and people like that.

Aries (T M H): I've personally been a fan since you were in Coming of Age, whatever happened to the group and do you still keep in contact with the other members.

TQ: Wow you really going back (laughs). I actually keep in contact with two of them, one is Marcel he is doing some writing and production and has worked with P!nk and has a independent label. I haven't seen Tee since the group fell apart. I talked to someone recently who said he moved to Hawaii. I actually wish all of the members the best of luck in whatever they're doing without a doubt. That group shit just wasn't me.

Aries (T M H): "Westside" really gave you a lot of exposure, looking back now who's idea was it to drop that as your debut single and why?

TQ: Me and Mike, who actually did a lot of 2 Pac stuff did it. When we recorded it, we did it for Pac's mom who was putting together a tribute album for him. Me and Mike thought about coming national with it because it was really underground. A lot of labels got a hold of it and started showing interest and we took it from there.

Aries (T M H): What R&B artist would you like to work with?

TQ: To be honest since I've worked with R. Kelly, I can't think of anybody else. You know what I shouldn't say that because I would love to work with Mary J. Blige. I would love to do a duet with her.

Aries (T M H): What can fans expect next from TQ?

TQ: Heavy promotion for this project for the rest of this year. touring the whole nine. I'm working with other artist on Cash Money and I will be on their albums. I'm just really doing a lot of work with my label mates & promote this album as much as possible.

Aries (T M H): With new music coming from Mya, Ashanti, Beyonce' and Monica, we're clearly going to have a hot summer when it comes to R&B divas. Out of those ladies, who do you think is going to bring it this year?

TQ: I'm bias (laughs), I really have to go with my girl Monica. I lived in ATL for about a year and she lived down the street from me. I mean out of the three Monica has the best vocals, not to take a shot at Ashanti because she really is the better songwriter out of the three, Mya is the best dancer and Beyonce' is the best all around entertainer, so they all have great qualities. Monica is just it, I want to see her back on top because she is one of the best and I am loving her new single, it's hot!

Aries (T M H): Any last words for your fans?

TQ: I just want them to check out the album and give me their feedback. I mean I really want to hear from them. There are so many TQ sites on the web, just do a search and you will find them.
