Slam FM: We all remember the songs Bye Bye Baby and Westside. It's been a couple of ago years now. What did you do in the between years? Cause we haven't heard from you since 1998?

TQ: I've been touring a lot. I've been writing a lot of music for a lot of different artists. I just started up a new company in the States; I have my own independent label now. It's called the HUB Muzic. We're doing music, we're doing dvd's, movies… we're doing the whole thing.

Slam FM: So you're a label boss right now?

TQ: Yeah.

Slam FM: So are you gonna sign other artists too?

TQ: We'll see once I get to that point. I got my hands on so many things, but it's not just a record label. Like I said it's got a film company and we release dvd's and everything. It's only so much time that you can… you know…

Slam FM: Big plans for the future!

TQ: Yeah.

Slam FM: The fans can't wait. The fans love your music very much and they can't wait to see you tonight [June 10th, 2005] in The Powerzone in Amsterdam. It's been a while since you performed in Amsterdam, I heard...

TQ: Yeah, it's been a while. I'm really excited about it. We're gonna have a good time tonight. We're gonna sing some of the old stuff, we're gonna sing some of the new stuff. We're gonna have a good time, man.

Slam FM: Let's talk about the new stuff. You brought a song with you and this is the first time it's gonna be on the radio. Can you tell something about the song?

TQ: This is a song called "Right On". It's a joint that we did a video to in LA. We basically shot the video in my neighborhood. We dropped it over there just for the underground and for over here we did a remix. It's got a popular sample that people might remember from back in the day and it's hot to death. It's called "Right On". Check it out!

Slam FM: Tonight you have a show in The Powerzone with the German DJ Tomekk. Are you gonna play together with him? What's the plan?

TQ: They're doing their set before me, I think. I'm rocking with my DJ, DJ Invisible Man. That's my partner. We're gonna do it real big. Like I said, we're gonna do some old, we're gonna do some new. We're gonna slow it down for the ladies, we're gonna speed it up for the fellas. We're gonna have a good time. I'm excited.

Slam FM: So are you gonna check out Amsterdam?

TQ: Yeah, I'll be here all weekend.

Slam FM: You have check out the famous coffee shops. They're very good here!

TQ: I already did, haha.
